Hello, Guest!

Welcome to the 17th Annual New Mexico Legal Services Providers Conference

Please join the Center for Legal Education on August 22 and 23, 2024 for the annual Legal Services Providers Conference!

Interested in developing your trial skills?

On Day 1 (August 22nd) of this conference, join expert trial lawyers Maureen Sanders, Linda Vanzi, and Joleen Youngers for a practice-focused plenary session on trial skills, with a particular focus on witnesses and exhibits. On Day 2 (August 23rd), a limited number of spots (in both virtual and in-person formats) are available to attorneys who would like to apply their knowledge. They will practice trial skills and receive critique from our experienced trial skills coaches. All three presenters, along with other expert coaches, will provide constructive feedback and help you hone your skills.

How it works

  • All participants must be registered for the prerequisite Building Trial Skills -- Witnesses & Exhibits Plenary on August 22 to attend the hands-on practice session on August 23.
  • There will be both in-person and virtual options for the trial skills practice sessions, with in-person and virtual coaches available for feedback.
  • Interested attorneys may submit an interest form here. Spaces are limited; for the best chance at securing a spot in the practice session, express interest as soon as possible.
  • Center for Legal Education staff will contact you by early August to confirm whether you have been awarded a space.
  • Attendees will have a homework assignment to complete in preparation for the hands-on practice sessions.
  • Attendees will receive an additional 1.5 G credit for their participation, at no additional cost.
