This presentation is structured in two parts. The first part, presented by chemist Andrew Knight from Sandia Labs, provides an overview of what PFAS' are, the history of their development and use in industrial processes, the environmental and health impacts of their prevalence, and current scientific underpinnings for existing regulations. The second part, presented by attorney Lana Rowenko, covers a brief history of PFAS litigation and both historical and contemporary cases related to their legal and regulatory status.
