This CLE provides attendees with a general knowledge of historical and current race related discrimination through the regulation of hair textures and styles commonly associated with race and culture. Additionally, the presenter will discuss the ramifications of the new CROWN ACT inspired amendments to the NM Human Rights Act that include hair textures, styles, and cultural headdresses within the definition of race.
