Administrative Hearings: A View From One Agency (2023) Credits: 1.0 G |
This session will provide a quick and dirty overview of New Mexico administrative hearings and administrative law. A specific focus will be on hearings under the Oil and Gas Act. Hearings have been conducted by the Oil Conservation Commission and the Oil Conservation Division since the passage of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Act 88 years ago.
Speaker: Bill Brancard is the former General Counsel for the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department and also served as a Hearing Examiner for the Department. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at UNM Law School teaching Oil and Gas Law.
