This course will discuss the rationale, policies, methodology and outcomes of the initiative, highlighting it as one way to serve the goal of achieving pay equity as embodied in the Paycheck Fairness Act and the Fair Pay Act, and also to advance the goal of government accountability and transparency.
Dr. Martha Burk is a nationally known gender pay equity consultant. Dr. Burk performs pay equity analysis for private sector companies as well as designs systems for pay equity reporting by businesses contracting with state and local governments.
