As of December 7, 2020, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) has been restored to its original 2012 form! This CLE is both a refresher for current practitioners and an introductory lesson for new practitioners. We will discuss the eligibility requirements, how to file initial and renewals applications and evidence requirements. We will also touch briefly on advance parole, which provides DACA recipients with the opportunity to leave the country and return.
