The State Bar of New Mexico Professional Development Program (PDP) proudly presents a day-long Institute focused on attorney best practices, compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct, well-being, and equity in justice. The PDP offers services and resources to State Bar members in law practice management, including continuing education courses, “how-to” manuals and workshops, an ethics helpline, and information, sample forms, checklists, and assessments on attorney best practices.  Join us to learn more during the day-long Institute.  We look forward to showing you how the PDP can benefit your practice. Note: Excess ethics/professionalism and equity in justice credits can be converted to be used toward the substantive (general) requirement. See Rule 18-204(E).

  • Oops, Now What? What You Need To Know About Next Steps After Discovering That You’ve Made A Mistake (Briggs F. Cheney, Dixon, Scholl, Carrillo, P.A.)
  • An Honest Conversation about Well-Being (Tenessa Eakins, State Bar LAP Manager; Matthew Tandy, LPCC, LADAC  )
  • Key Considerations for Interrupting Bias (Dr. Amanda Parker, Equity and Inclusion Educator )
