Purchasing or renewing professional liability insurance, while incredibly important, can be a tedious and often confusing task. It often involves slogging through boilerplate language and technical jargon, all te while trying to determine what type of coverage and in what amounts fit a particular lawyer’s needs. This session will explain much of that jargon and offer things every lawyer should consider researching and asking about when purchasing a professional liability insurance policy.

Speaker:
Briggs Cheney practices with Dixon Scholl Carrillo, PA in Albuquerque. His practice for 50 years has focused on the representation of lawyers in the civil and disciplinary arenas. He has been active in local, state, and national bars in all matters relating to lawyers and the legal profession and has been recognized for his efforts.
