On occasion lawyers make mistakes; some small, some not-so-small. This session will address what a lawyer should do after discovering a mistake, including communications with clients, professional liability carriers, and others. The session will also discuss the steps lawyers should consider taking, in advance, to reduce the likelihood of mistakes and to prepare to respond to them if one occurs.
